Reservation of Amount
When paying with an international payment card, the amount is reserved immediately. The amount remains reserved on your card or account until one of the following occurs:

We charge the amount when the item is shipped.

The amount is released according to agreement with your card issuer.
We only charge the amount once the item has been shipped.
No card fees are applied.
When paying via PayPal, you are not covered by the dispute scheme. Read PayPal's own terms.
When purchasing via ViaBill, you receive your product first and then pay monthly installments.
If you do not pay on time, fees may be applied. When canceling a purchase, the ViaBill payment agreement ends.

With Anyday, you can split the payment into 4 installments. You pay 25% on delivery, and the rest is spread over the next 3 months. Anyday is free as long as payment is made on time.

Mobile Terms (SMS Service)
Message frequency: 1–4 SMS per month with offers, news, and promotions.
Unsubscribe: Reply STOP to a message or contact us via contact@chantybikes.co.uk.
Costs: Standard SMS rate from your telecom provider.
Disclaimer: Chantybikes.co.uk is not responsible for delayed or missing SMS messages caused by the telecom provider.
Changes: We reserve the right to modify or end the SMS service with reasonable notice.

Freight and delivery
Choose the delivery method that suits you best:

(complete bicycles in box – delivered unassembled to curbs)
Delivery is only in Denmark. Delivery to non-bridged islands may be subject to special conditions.
Delivery time: 2–5 working days.
Delivery takes place to curbs or in front of the front door – without support.
Right of withdrawal - 99-day right of return
At Chantybikes.co.uk, we offer 99-day right of return, well beyond the minimum legal requirements.
This means that you have 99 days from receipt to inform us that you wish to cancel your purchase.
Right of return conditions
The right of withdrawal only applies if the following conditions are met:

The packaging has not been opened.

The cycle is not assembled or put into service.

The item is returned in original, undamaged packaging.
If the packaging is opened or the bicycle has been assembled, the right of return lapses as the item can no longer be sold as new.
To exercise the right of return, you must send an email within 99 days to contact@chantybikes.co.uk.
Then you have 14 days to return the item.

When you return an item, it will be sent to:

You must pay for the return freight yourself.
Larger items (such as bicycles) must be returned via a carrier that can handle freight sizes, e.g. Jetpack.
The return cost is expected to be a maximum of £23
We receive only return packages sent directly to the address – not to parcel shops or parcel boxes.
When the item is returned and approved, the amount will be refunded within 14 days.
If the conditions are not met (e.g. opened packaging or assembled bicycle), the return may be rejected or the depreciation deducted.
Right of complaint
As a consumer, you have a 24-month warranty under the Sale of Goods Act.
If you have a legitimate claim, you can have the goods repaired, exchanged, refunded or reduced in price – depending on the situation.
You must complain within reasonable time after you have discovered the error.
Complaints within 2 months are always considered timely.

Remember to enclose a description of the error and a copy of the order confirmation.
A reasonable shipping charge will be refunded in the event of an approved complaint.
For B2B customers, a 12-month warranty period applies unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Warranty (Optional)
Chantybikes LTD offer the possibility to purchase a 5-year extended warranty on the frame.
The warranty is et Option and only valid if the customer purchased the warranty and can present a valid receipt on this.
The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects on the frame.
The warranty covers not normal wear, rust, accidents, misuse or faulty maintenance.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Assembly, damage and use liability
Bicycles are provided as starting point 85% overall. The customer is responsible for the correct installation of the remaining parts (handlebars, pedals, saddle, etc.) in accordance with the instructions.
The customer must always check the bike for transport damage, scratches or defects before assembling the bike.
Any damage must document by images and sent to contact@chantybikes.co.uk before assembly.
Once the bike is assembled, CHANTYBIKES LTD disclaim liability for damage, scratches or defects that are subsequently detected, as these may have occurred during assembly.
We recommend that the assembly be performed by a bicycle mechanic or someone with technical experience.
Product Safety
All cycles from CHANTYBIKES LTD are CE marked and meet EU product safety requirements, including EN 14764 and EN 14765 for children's bicycles.
This means that the products meet safety, stability, braking performance and durability requirements.
Environment and packaging
CHANTYBIKES LTD We operate in full compliance with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) standards. All our packaging is 100% recyclable and designed to be easily disposed of via your local household recycling collection.
Reservations
Reservations are made for printing errors, price changes, technical errors, sold-out items and delayed delivery.
Chantybikes LTD cannot be held liable for losses due to force majeure, including war, strike, natural disasters, delivery delays, system crashes or changes in legislation.
